With FREE admission, FREE parking and FREE glassmaking demonstrations the Caithness Crystal Visitor Centre just off Paxman Road on Hardwick Industrial Estate in King's Lynn is well worth a visit.
Experience glassmaking first hand where you will marvel at this master craft, enjoy free demonstrations with skilled glassmakers as they make vases, animals, tumblers which can be purchased in the shop; there is a special area for glass items Made in King's Lynn.
Children can experience the art of blowing a glass tumbler or having their hand or foot cast in glass, all under the careful guidance of our glassmakers. If you are over 16 you can have a go at making a paperweight too. These experiences can be purchased at the Visitor Centre on arrival or as gifts beforehand; they make excellent and unsual presents if you are not sure what to buy. As viewing in the glasshouse is FREE to all visitors there is no time limit - you can watch for as long as you like.
Newly refurbished coffee shop and restaurant...
Relax and enjoy refreshments in our new coffee shop/restaurant, where we serve home cooked light meals, snacks and cakes along with a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. There are new indoor toilet facilities now with a special provision for baby changing.

Complete you visit to the Visitor Centre with a browse around the well stocked shop where you will find many famous name brands of glass, crystal, cookware and cutlery including Spode, Denby, Viners, Onieda and Portmerrion to name but a few. New for 2007 is the craft corner, with many useful products including creative paper, CarlaCraft punches and scrapbooking materials perfect for all of your crafting needs.
