Specialist woad growers; pigment producers; dyers; and luxurious naturally dyed textile retailers.
Visit the Woad Centre for a FREE exhibition on woad production, dyeing demonstrations at 2pm, and shop with full range of natural pigment dyed textiles. We grow woad, process pigment from it and commission specialist artisans to make items with our woad-dyed yarn, as well as dyeing completed items.
Using a wide range of high quality, natural yarns (including wool, silks, cotton, linen, alpaca and bamboo) the majority of our hand-made range is produced by local crafts people here in Norfolk.
Our products are available to purchase through our online shop, by mail order, at special events, and at the Woad Centre, Beetley.
We also run dyeing workshops for individuals and small groups.
We are open 10am to 4pm, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays at Easter and then 1st May to Christmas.
Directions:
The Woad Centre is just a short way off the B1146, Dereham to Fakenham Road.

When travelling from Fakenham, take the first junction on the right after East Bilney.
